I think there might be a new sewing addiction for me in the very near future. I picked up this book I have read much about around blog land. I actually got it on sale! Even better. Of course, the first skirt I made, I made too big. Naturally. However, it's my own fault for sewing past my bedtime. I should know better....hehe. The book though, LOVE it! Super fun things in there and very easy to follow. I see many new skirts in my future....

Ooohhhh! I'm jealous :o) I've been reading about that book on blogland as well. I saw it in the bookstore last week and drooled all over it...before I put it back on the shelf. I'll be getting that with my birthday money! Oh, and thanks for putting the bandanna pants tutorial up...that's next on my alternate universe to do list. Now I just need to read up on the freezer paper stenciling...looks like lots of fun!

ReplyDeleteI just bought the book a couple of weeks ago. I think it will be so useful to be able to make my daughter skirts that fit her as she is and not try to figure out which pattern size. -- Michele
